EDWIL House B&B is located in a tranquil setting where you can enjoy the serenity and beauty of Canberra. Native Birdlife such as Sulphur Crested Cockatoos, Rosellas and Magpies are frequent visitors to the home, yet only minutes away from major shopping centres and Lake Tuggeranong. Feed the birds in our garden and look for kangaroos only 200 metres to the Urambi Hills walking trail.
Within 5-10 minutes by car are Woden and Tuggeranong Town Centres. Social and sporting clubs such as the Canberra Southern Cross Clubs, Tuggeranong Town Centre Sports Club, Canberra Highland Society Burns Club, and the Murrumbidgee Country Club provide activities, entertainment, dining and gaming machines. Golf, Tennis, Lawn Bowls, Leisure Centres with pool and gymnasium are close by. The Tuggeranong and Woden Centres have a vast array of shopping facilities, Movie Theatres, and extensive Food Halls. Also within 5 minutes of EDWIL House B&B at Tuggeranong are restaurants and fast food outlets such as McDonalds, Hungry Jacks and Kentucky Fried to name a few.
Most major attractions in Canberra are within 15 minutes travel from “EDWIL”. However an easy drive will take you to the beautiful beaches and the scenic South Coast of New South Wales, the Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electric Scheme and the extensive Snow Fields.of Mt Kosciusko via the ski tube to Perisher and Blue Cow.
